Royal Mail Definitive Stamps

These definitive stamps feature the famous bas-relief portrait of Her Majesty the Queen sculpted by Arnold Machin OBE RA (1911-1999). The first stamps were issued in June 1967. These new definitives have been designed for the European and Worldwide postage rates (for items up to 40g). They were designed by Sedley Place and printed by Walsall Security Print on self-adhesive paper and measure 20mm × 24mm. Stamp design © Royal Mail Group plc.
